Date Written: December 10, 2012 This Article explains the effects of a new law that restricts restaurants from selling what health inspectors consider to be under cooked Hodgson does a great job in explaining the intent of this law and some of the long term impacts that this law will more than likely cause. This law to me seems to take away individualism some people like their burgers cooked certain ways because of personal preference. this law also hurts well known burger joints because it regulates how their meat is cooked. Food is culture, we are what we eat, food helps define who we are limiting what can be served hurts cultural growth. This really effects the Culture of the UK though because it maybe one of many new health codes that could effect more than food. |
